I recently worked on a pretty amazing doc about a family that owns and runs a strip club in my hometown of Guelph, ON. It's a dark and funny film with a lot of heart to say the least. It managed to catch the attention of the HotDocs film fest and it's snagged opening night. That's huge for a first-time, Canadian filmmaker (Shawney Cohen).
